Day treatment at Alfa Fredensborg
Alfa’s day treatment for addiction uses the intensive treatment elements of the day treatment for those who come to our outpatient day treatment. At Alfa-Fredensborg we have been using cognitive therapy for addiction treatment since 2003 with great success.
The intervals in day treatment are the same for both alcohol and drug users. However, the alcohol addict’s course of treatment is often shorter at each stage.
At our addiction centre we treat the most common addictions such as alcohol dependence and drug dependence.

Program for day treatment
Alfa-Fredensborg is close to Fredensborg station, which makes it possible for most citizens in North Zealand to reach the treatment before 8.45 am.
Citizens follow the day treatment programme from 9.00-15.00. The only difference is that they go home to themselves at 3pm, when the other residents in the house are also free and doing other activities.
Many who attend day treatment experience the same treatment services as those who live on-site. The only difference is that they go home to their own accommodation after “working hours” at 3pm,
