Holistic addiction treatment
When you refer to Alfa, you are referring to holistic addiction treatment that can help citizens no matter what stage of addiction they are in.
We treat alcoholism and drug addiction in the age group 18 – 75 years from different social strata.
The two departments, AlfaRehab and Alfa Fredensborg, together form a close-knit relapse prevention service.

- Day treatment, 5 days a week, all year round
- Outpatient treatment – for the chaotic, or those who require one to one contact

- 24-hour treatment 365 days a year
- Acute admission
The close link between the two departments means that we can start preparing for the labour market as early as the day treatment and ensure good holistic programmes with a high success rate.
If a relapse occurs, we can quickly screen the citizen, at no additional cost to the municipality. We receive citizens in both departments at short notice.
When treatment must work
We work with the person behind the abuse. This more thorough approach allows the citizen to process the traumas and beliefs that stand in the way of their recovery.
Many addiction treatments focus on the addiction and therefore do not get to the root of the problem. This means that the citizen will be at higher risk of relapse after the end of treatment.
At Alfa, we work with core values and fundamental beliefs that can lead to long-term healing.
Citizens receive during their course
Solution-focused therapy, psychotherapy, coaching, trauma therapy (EMDR and SE), cognitive therapy.
In addition, we always recommend that therapeutic treatment is combined with a healthy diet and exercise.
The less inflammation the body is exposed to, the better the chance of a smooth treatment course. It is therefore beneficial to complement the therapy with a food plan containing anti-inflammatory foods.
